Abbey Idalski started working for Child and Family Services this past fall as a Licensing Specialist. Before employment here, Abbey was a communications specialist in the United States Marine Corps for five years. On active duty, Abbey earned her Bachelor of Science Degree is Social Psychology. Abbey’s passion for children grew significantly while living in Kenya, Africa where she had the opportunity rehabilitate malnourished/neglected children at a children’s home. Abbey has recently moved home to Northern Michigan after being gone six years. Abbey loves the outdoors, hiking, traveling and spending time with her friends and family. She is really passionate about doing her part to ensure the welfare of children and is a firm believer that small moments change the world.
