Devin Hilla has come to Child & Family Services as a Foster Care Licensing Specialist after living in Grand Rapids, MI for six years. Devin was born and raised in Rogers City, MI. After moving to Grand Rapids, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Applied Statistics. His coursework and interests were primarily within the fields of child development, education, and behavioral psychology. In the past two years, he has worked or volunteered in sixteen schools throughout seven districts in the West Michigan area, while also teaching camps at John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids. He has also spent time working in a child and development unit of a behavioral and mental health treatment hospital supporting young people facing myriad issues. His other hobbies include traveling, hiking, rock climbing, and reading both philosophy and fiction.
